Negar Hakim is an Iranian-born architecture critic who is now based in Vienna, where she studied Art History at the University of Vienna. She is on the editorial board of MEMAR Magazine and Kunst & Kirche, and contributes to several other art and architecture periodicals in the Middle East. She has lectured on Modern Islamic Architecture at several Austrian universities (including the University of Vienna, KU Linz, TU Wien) and her articles are published in a wide range of professional journals. Hakim is also an intercultural art and architecture consultant in Europe and Middle East. She is currently guest professor at the TU Wien in Vienna.
