Beschreibung: 

Hannes Taugwalder, born on 21 December 1910 in Zermatt; he had a commercial training at a private bank and then worked in Zurich, Lausanne and London. Later we find him as manager of a country estate, senior administrator of a department store and general manager of a textile factory. He founded his own factory in 1953.

Throughout his years as a businessman, driven on by the pressure of success or failure, writing was his hobby. Countless short stories were published in newspapers and magazines. But he has only been able to devote himself fully to his literary work since his retirement.
